Its special location and status later translated into economic profits. As the Abbasid Caliphate collapsed (1219 AD) the Mesopotamia and Basra fell under Iranian domination and the rise of the Safavids in Iran all but intensified the rivalry to exert control over this strategic port with the Ottomans. On the one hand the nomads of Khuzestan and Basra played a decisive role in this rivalry, and on the other hand, the onset of political and economic rivalries of European powers in the Persian Gulf drove the British and Portuguese into Irano-Ottoman rivalry for controlling Basra. In the midst of the two powers struggle the All-e- Afrasiyab  (of Basra Turkic nomads) took advantage of the domestic problems of Iran and the Ottoman Empire to gain control over Basra and rule it for seventy years and reap its economic benefits. This article has been informed by domestic and foreign sources and shows how this apparently independent dynasty could, in the midst of rivalry between Iran and the Ottoman Empire, assume and play a political and economic role in this period.}, keywords = {Iran,Ottoman Empire,Safavid Empire,All-e- Afrasiyab,Basra}, title_fa = {حکومت هفتاد ساله آل افراسیاب بر بصره و چالش ایران و عثمانی برای تصرف آن شهر در دورۀ صفوی (1078- 1005ق.)}, abstract_fa = {بندر بصره در اوایل سالهای فتوح برای ساماندهی و ارسال سپاه به نواحی شرق خلافت ایجاد شد. پس از آن، موقعیت خاص این شهر، موجب اهمیت اقتصادی‌اش گردید. با سقوط خلافت عباسی (616 ق.) منطقه بین‌النهرین و بندر بصره توسط سلسله‌های ایرانی اداره میشد و ظهور صفویان در ایران و حکومت عثمانی، رقابت سختی را برای تسلط بر این بندر استراتژیک بین دو قدرت مهم منطقه ایجاد کرد. در این رقابت، عشایر خوزستان و اطراف بصره نقشی مهم ایفاء کردند و از سوئی دیگر، با شروع رقابت‌های اقتصادی و سیاسی قدرت‌های اروپایی در خلیج فارس، پای پرتغالیها و انگلیسیها نیز به رقابت ایران و عثمانی برای تسلط بر بصره گشوده شد. در میانه کشمکشهای دو قدرت، آل افراسیاب (از عشایر ناحیه بصره) با توجه به گرفتاری‌های داخلی ایران و عثمانی، حکومت بصره را به چنگ آورد و هفتاد سال بر آن شهر حکومت کرد و از منافع اقتصادی آن بهره‌مند شد. این مقاله با تکیه بر منابع داخلی و خارجی بر آن است تا نشان دهد که چگونه این حکومتِ به ظاهر مستقل توانست در بحبوحه رقابت دو کشور، در صحنه سیاسی و اقتصادی روزگار نقش‌آفرینی کند.}, keywords_fa = {ایران,عثمانی,صفویه,آل افراسیاب,بصره}, url = {https://www.hfrjournal.ir/article_73414.html}, eprint = {https://www.hfrjournal.ir/article_73414_3769b61bc66a80fa8ae83f6b9b1cf39b.pdf} }
