The lack of cooperation by the British and the support which Karim Khan made for Bani Kab tribe that was a main threat for the trade interests of the British led to some conflicts between Iran and England. Finally, the English left Bushehr in 1769. Although the emphasis which Karim Khan put on trade and the stagnation of trade in Basrah – as the main center of British trade in the Persian Gulf – and the Iranian invasion of Basrah, paved the way for the reestablishment of ties between the two countries, the death of Karim Khan and the civil conflicts which followed his death, led to crisis and stagnations in the relations between the two countries, except for very few cases.}, keywords = {Zandieh,Karim Khan – Foreign Relations,England,Persian Gulf,Bushehr,Basrah}, title_fa = {فراز و نشیب روابط خارجی کریم خان زند با انگلستان}, abstract_fa = {افتتاح تجارتخانه در بوشهر به سال 1763م. توسط کمپانی هند شرقی انگلیس، مقدمه ایجاد روابط ایران و انگلستان در دوره زندیه است. در این مقطع تاریخی، گذشته از عامل تجارت، لزوم ایجاد امنیت در سواحل جنوبی و منطقه خلیج فارس و فقدان نیروی دریایی مناسب برای نیل به این مقصود، دولتمردان ایران را به ایجاد روابط با قدرت‌‌های حاضر در منطقه با هدف بهره‌مندی از نیروی دریایی آنها ترغیب می‌کرد. عدم همکاری مؤثر انگلیسی‌ها و نیز حمایت کریم‌خان زند از قبیله بنی‌کعب که کمپانی انگلیسی آن را تهدیدی علیه منافع تجاری خود در منطقه می‌دانست؛ موجب بروز تنش‌هایی در روابط دو طرف گردید، تا آنجا که انگلیسی‌ها در سال 1769م. بوشهر را ترک کردند. اگرچه اهمیتی که کریم‌خان برای تجارت قائل بود و نیز از رونق افتادن بصره ـ به عنوان مهم‌ترین مرکز تجاری انگلستان در خلیج فارس ـ و فتح آن توسط ایران، زمینه ساز روابط مجدد دو کشور شد، اما مرگ کریم خان و درگیری‌های داخلی پس از آن، روابط دو کشور را جز در موارد محدود و معدودی به رکود کشانید.}, keywords_fa = {: زندیه,کریم‌خان,روابط خارجی,انگلستان,خلیج فارس,بوشهر,بصره}, url = {https://www.hfrjournal.ir/article_85057.html}, eprint = {https://www.hfrjournal.ir/article_85057_601907da714be35fbd77f4a7297c4c7d.pdf} }
