Power rivalries during the Mongol, Turkmens and Safavid eras which brought about the end of the ruling Gilani family, coupled with the delicate land of India with its huge immeasurable wealth, motivated famous Gilanis, namely Jamal al-Din Gilani, Khajeh Mahmoud Gilani and Hazin Lahiji, to migrate to India. The article seeks to study the contribution of Gilani immigrants to the promotion of Iranian customs and traditions, Islamic sects and the expansion of commerce and political relations between the two countries. یکی از سرزمین‌هایی که گیلانیان حضور گسترده‌ای در آن داشتند، شبه قاره هند است؛ آنها شبه قاره را جایگاه امنی برای خود یافتند و در آن دیار به رشد و تعالی سیاسی و مذهبی نایل آمدند. کشمکش‌های دوران مغولان، ترکمانان و صفویان که به انقراض خاندان حکومتگر گیلانی انجامید، به علاوه سرزمین دل انگیز هند با ثروت‌های بی‌کرانش، انگیزه‌ای برای مهاجرت گیلانیان نامداری چون جمال‌الدین گیلانی، خواجه محمود گیلانی و حزین لاهیجی به هند شد. در این مقاله کوشش شده است تا خدمات مهاجران گیلانی به هند که به گسترش فرهنگ و آداب و رسوم ایرانی، مذاهب اسلامی و مبادلات بازرگانی و سیاسی دو کشور انجامید، بررسی شود.  https://www.hfrjournal.ir/article_50484_6201a8c498ddef92d0ac8e9f0fc5b0c1.pdf
