The connection between the people of southern Iran and the regions of Africa and India, facilitated by the Persian Gulf as a major thoroughfare, spans several millennia. It is evident that in addition to trade, the influence of this historical relationship has manifested in the cultural domain. Traces of this interaction can still be found in the language, art, customs, and traditions of the people of southern Iran and its neighboring nations. Oral culture, of which music and melodies are an integral part, articulates a segment of this extensive history, holding special significance in cultural history studies alongside written records. This research, emphasizing the importance of intercultural communications in the history of the Persian Gulf region, specifically focuses on the influence of African and Indian cultures on the music of the northern Persian Gulf areas, with a particular focus on melodies and organology. It endeavors to answer the following questions: How have African and Indian music, within the framework of intercultural relations, fostered diversity in the music of southern Iran, and what remnants of this influence persist today? This study was conducted using a descriptive-analytical approach and a documentary-library research method. The findings indicate that while the precise timeline and process of the influence of African and Indian migrant music on the local music of southern Iran remain unclear, this transformation is observable in parts of Iran and neighboring Arab countries. Reciprocally, the influence of Iranian music can also be observed
