Abstract
Inspired by the idea of Iranshahr ancient Iranians established relations based on tolerance and moderation, freedom of beliefs, convictions, tradition and religion thereby creating of the greatest governments of ancient times. This idea has endured century after century and runs through the fabric of nowadays world as international relations cannot be envisioned absent this idea which can prevent wars, bloodshed, slaughtering of the innocent and dislocations. The current article has used library sources to study the immortality of the idea of Iranshahr in the conduct of Iranian foreign relations with other nations in the course ancient historical periods.
